In a recent media announcement about the financial backing from the P2 Brasil fund, Tecnogera started 2015 with a significant acquisition of power generators.
Due to the growing demand for temporary energy solutions and the imminent possibility of energy rationing, the company is strengthening its role in providing power generators through rental services.
The financial backing boosts the company’s expansion, which currently operates in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Norte. “The company intends to advance into the North, Northeast, and South regions of the country and also to neighboring countries in Latin America,” explained Abraham Curi, founder and president of the company.
In 2011, P2Brasil, with Pátria Investimentos as the major shareholder holding 60%, and the Promon group holding the remaining 40%, made its first investment aimed at a renewable energy company.
According to André Sales, “every investment made by the group is to promote the growth of the invested company.”
Tecnogera is now a standout in the sector, serving major clients such as Vale and its subsidiaries, Petrobras and its service providers, as well as retailers like Renner and C&A. Click here to read the full report.
