The Real Estate Industry Commission (CII) of the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC) announced a forecast of 10% growth for the civil construction sector in 2018.
Another entity with good prospects for this market is the Housing Union of the State of São Paulo – Secovi-SP, which believes in stability in the launch of new real estate projects but expects a 5% to 10% increase in property sales. According to the union, in the city of São Paulo, property sales reached 23,629 units in 2017, an increase of 46.1% compared to 2016.
Also according to Secovi-SP, the sale of new properties also grew. In the last 12 months, negotiations involved 25,349 units, an increase of 60.4% compared to the previous 12 months.
