Inoperative air conditioning concerns managers
One of Brazil’s major retailers recently exemplified temporary rental.
The store has a construction area of 5,500 m² and is located in downtown Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe.
The client sought our services due to inoperative air conditioning in the spaces.
Their equipment was over 10 years old and underwent frequent maintenance to extend its lifespan.
However, it stopped working, necessitating strategic solutions to address the temporary lack of air conditioning.

Steps for planning and resolving the air conditioning issue
Initially, to proceed with the delivery of equipment and services, a technical evaluation of the space and location was conducted.
The geographical and structural assessment of the surroundings identified a second challenge.
The store is located in a commercial pedestrian area, preventing truck entry for unloading the Chiller and, consequently, a conventional crane to hoist it to the rooftop where it would be installed.
The maintenance manager was aware of Tecnogera’s Chiller rental service.

Implementing the maintenance plan
For this, the neighboring store’s parking lot on the street behind was used to hoist the Chiller. On the occasion, we used a 22T telescopic crane with a 34.8m boom to transport the equipment to the client’s rooftop.
The installation work began after the complete clearance of the parking lot at 9 PM. Completion occurred at 4 AM after the removal of the obsolete Chiller and installation of Tecnogera’s equipment.
To meet the store’s air conditioning needs, 01 Chiller of 170 TR, hoses, cables, freight, loading and unloading, and installation and removal were delivered. The solution remained not only for the initial 30 days but was extended to 90 days.
