The events sector is highly strategic and offers excellent opportunities for temporary power companies.
For Tecnogera, it’s no different. Since last year, the company has been intensifying its efforts in this market.
After providing power for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics, the world’s largest sporting event, Tecnogera also powered the Knowledge Olympics, an event held in Brasília with 100% temporary energy.
To solidify its presence in the sector, Tecnogera has just partnered with Taste of São Paulo, a gastronomic event starting today and running until Sunday, August 27, at the Santo Amaro Equestrian Center in São Paulo.
In its second edition, Taste of São Paulo will feature a 25,000 m² area and will use 100% temporary power supplied by 11 Tecnogera generators.
Together, these generators will produce a total of 4.8 MvA of energy, which will be used for lighting, powering over 20 kitchens, air conditioning, and climate control of the space.
The use of generators is crucial for hosting large events like Taste of São Paulo.
Since these occasions require a higher volume of energy for a specific period, generators provide a practical, efficient, and highly secure solution for organizers, who must address this vital aspect, often considered behind-the-scenes given the event’s magnitude.
Currently, temporary power is so important to the segment that many organizers or promoters of shows, games, and business or entertainment fairs already opt to hire generators for standby use or even as the sole power source for their events.
