Despite the country’s economic challenges, the Brazilian event market remains robust.

According to the Brazilian Association of Events (Abrafesta), the event industry generated R$ 17 billion in 2016, with expectations for continued growth this year.

Major sporting events like the Olympics and Formula 1, along with music festivals such as Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza, business expos, and social gatherings like weddings, drive a vast network of suppliers, including those providing temporary power solutions.

These events require massive sound, lighting, and climate control setups, which cannot rely on utility companies alone, making generators essential.

However, simply supplying generators is not enough.

Large events demand tailored projects and customized energy supply solutions.

Projects must include the entire generator setup, fuel quantity estimation, and panels and cables responsible for powering all equipment.

For Tecnogera, the event sector has proven highly strategic, and the company is solidifying its presence with comprehensive solutions for a variety of event profiles.

In 2016, Tecnogera was the official temporary power provider for the world’s largest sporting event, the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Following that, Tecnogera powered the Knowledge Olympics, hosted by the National Service for Industrial Training (Senai) and the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) in Brasília, with 100% generator-supplied energy.

This year, Tecnogera’s first major event will be the Taste of São Paulo, one of the largest culinary events in São Paulo, held from August 24 to 27 at the Santo Amaro Equestrian Club in the South Zone.

Tecnogera will supply power to over 20 kitchens of renowned chefs, exhibition and course areas, and all tents set up exclusively for the event.
