Generator rental for logistics warehouses
When the power goes out in your logistics warehouse, conveyors, WMS, and docks stop, and orders pile up.
Your distribution center continues sorting and dispatching during a network outage, with a generator sized by our engineering team.
- Keep dispatch running when the network goes down
- Know your DC’s power before the proposal, with a no-cost calculation
- Monitor the generator via telemetry, with 24-hour on-call service

Where does a power outage halt the logistics warehouse?
In your logistics warehouse, a power outage halts movement, the system, and dispatch.
Conveyors and sorters
The conveyor stops with the volumes on top, and the sorter stops diverting boxes to each dock.
WMS and collectors
Your team’s collectors communicate with the WMS through the warehouse network, which shuts down along with the power.
Docks and leveling doors
The dock door and leveler rely on an electric motor, and the trailer remains stationary in the bay.
Warehouse and yard lighting
In the dark warehouse, sorting stops for safety, and the unlit yard delays nighttime maneuvering.
Electric forklift chargers
A night without battery recharging leaves the morning shift with fewer electric forklifts operating.
Black Friday Without Blackout: special conditions for generator rental contracts signed by 11/30.

Distribution center
In the high-volume DC, the standby generator takes over the conveyor, sorter, system, and dispatch docks.
Logistics condominium
In the logistics condominium, we calculate the generator for your module and the equipment you keep running.
Urban delivery center
At the quick delivery point, sorting and dispatch are overnight, and a compact generator keeps departures on schedule.
For the smaller delivery point, the fleet starts with models up to 100 kVA. In large retail networks, as shown in the case of the retail network, prompt service starts at 15 kVA.
How does power return to the warehouse in seconds?
With the standby generator, your warehouse’s power returns within seconds after a grid outage.
An automatic transfer switch, the ATS, connects the generator to the warehouse’s electrical system.
When it detects a grid failure or scheduled shutdown, the ATS activates the generator and transfers the load.
This quick switch protects the server and chargers from voltage spikes and abrupt shutdowns.
Automatic transfer depends on an ATS installed in your warehouse, according to the project and commercial proposal.
How does Danone keep the refrigerated DC running?
Danone Alimentos hired our standby for the refrigerated distribution center, the company’s largest in Brazil.
Without refrigeration, this DC fails to meet the sanitary surveillance’s perishable storage parameters.
Our engineering team sized these pieces of equipment for this DC:
- A 1,400 kVA generator set
- A 3,200 amp transfer switch
- More than 1,500 meters of installed cables
If your warehouse also stores refrigerated products, learn about the Danone case.
What generator power does your warehouse need?
When renting a generator for a warehouse, the power depends on the equipment you want to keep running during the outage.
Before the proposal, our engineering team calculates at no cost how much these pieces of equipment add up in your operation:
- Conveyors, sorters, and dock motors
- Servers, wireless network, and collector chargers
- Internal, dock, and yard lighting
- Forklift battery chargers
The models range from up to 100 kVA to over 1,400 kVA, powered by diesel, biodiesel, natural gas, or biogas.
In the yard and at the docks, at night, the lighting tower complements the generator.
How do we deliver the generator to your DC?
With our own logistics, we bring the generator to your warehouse, install it, and perform the load test on-site.
In any shift, the telemetry monitors the generator and our support team is available 24 hours a day throughout the contract.
We serve your DC from units in all regions of the country.
Blackout-Free Black Friday Dispatch
On Black Friday, November 27, dispatch experiences the highest volume day, and every stalled order delays a delivery.
Generator rental contracts signed from October 16 to November 30, 2026, are eligible for the campaign’s special conditions.
For your warehouse, the consultant sets up these conditions based on the project, timeline, and service region.
They are subject to credit analysis and availability and cannot be combined with other current conditions or contracts.
See the regulations on the Blackout-Free Black Friday page and learn about the campaign on our website.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to rent a generator for a logistics warehouse?
The cost is determined per project, based on the power in kVA, rental duration, fuel, and transportation. Before the proposal, our engineering team calculates the power your warehouse needs at no cost.
Which generator serves a distribution center?
The DC generator is calculated based on what you want to keep running: conveyors, sorters, WMS, docks, and chargers. For Danone’s cooled distribution center, our engineering team recommended a 1,400 kVA generator set.
Does the generator take over automatically when the warehouse power goes out?
It takes over when on standby connected to an automatic transfer switch, which transfers the load in a matter of seconds. The ATS installation is included according to the project and commercial proposal.
Is there a small generator for an urban delivery center?
Yes, because our fleet starts with models up to 100 kVA. The engineering team calculates the power required for sorting and nighttime dispatch.
How long can I rent the generator for the warehouse?
The period is defined with our consultant and included in the proposal cost. After Black Friday, the generator can remain on standby for the holiday season and rainy days.
Can’t your operation stop?
