Slurry pipelines offer significant advantages over other forms of ore slurry transportation, whether it’s iron, coal, bauxite, or others. These pipelines can cover long distances, requiring high-power pumps to move the material over hundreds of kilometers. Tecnogera developed a tailored solution for this highly complex project, supplying 30MVA divided across 8 plants, operating up to 24 hours a day, using 1100 KVA power generators to drive four 1,100 hp motors, four 1,500 hp motors, and additional 1,250 hp motors, along with managing the contracted energy demand for the plants.
