Wind power applications have been steadily growing worldwide, and Brazil is no exception, with consecutive growth percentages in wind farm capacity over recent years. During the construction of these plants, before the wind turbines are integrated into the grid, it is crucial to conduct inspection tests and verify the energy capacity generated by each unit. This is achieved using a Load Bank, which simulates various energy demands in a controlled environment, ensuring the wind turbine operates flawlessly when connected to the grid, delivering the expected power without fluctuations.
Business results
In this project, Tecnogera provided 1,250KVA power generators and 3.3MVA Load Banks over three months, commissioning the 80 wind turbines of the park.
Tecnogera’s experience, having commissioned over 2,000 wind turbines, ensured the plant’s testing period and the correct operation of the 80 wind turbines, optimizing the Wind Farm’s production and generating higher revenues for the client from the start of operations.
